Ocean Rafting announced recently the next addition to their ever growing fleet, Riptide. The arrival of RipTide increases their fleet to six vessels and is the sister ship to their other 12 metre vessels, Thunderstruck and Joyride. Designed for comfort and speed, RipTide will carry up to 32 guests as they experience their Whitsunday adventure, visiting Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and pristine snorkeling spots.
The multi-award winning operator has called Abell Point Marina home for over two years now and the business continues to grow from strength to strength. Operating two different tours – Northern Exposure and Southern Lights, guests can choose an adventure which suits their needs with both tours providing a combination of fun, adventure and education.
Of the new vessel, Jan Claxton, Owner/ Operator says “The arrival of ‘RipTide’ increases Ocean Rafting’s fleet to six vessels and with a capacity for 32 guests, Ocean Rafting will now be able to carry up to 174 guests on daily tours to Whitehaven Beach. The sixth vessel with allow for vessels to be rotated easier for regular maintenance and for servicing busier periods throughout the year such as school holidays, when we are running at full capacity.”
