Over the last six years, Coral Sea Marina has experienced a $30million redevelopment of it’s on-water and shoreside facilities. Every upgrade and improvement has been designed with customer comfort in mind, with the view of creating a world-class destination marina in the heart of the Whitsundays – the best cruising grounds in Australia.
With berths available to accommodate vessels from 11 – 80m and deep-water berths to 5m LAT, Coral Sea Marina’s unique rock wall breakwater is designed for the marina to host a range of vessels throughout the year.
With a complete range of concierge services and first-class facilities, it is clear to see why Coral Sea Marina was awarded Australian Marina of the Year 2017/18 and again in 2019/2020.

Car Parking
Car Parking
We have two main car parks, these are both open car parks (not boom gated) and we unfortunately do not take bookings. Both car parks are pay and display - you pay for the period you will be staying in the car park and the machine will give you a ticket to display on your dashboard.
What you need to know about parking at Coral Sea Marina?
- We do have after hour’s security patrolling the marina precinct daily and CCTV surveillance is in use.
- We have both short term and long term parking available.
- Long term parking is available in the south marina top level car park and is payable at the machine up to 30 days.
- If you require parking for longer than one month, please visit the office during business hours to arrange a permit. Office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm daily.
- Please allow enough time to find a park, pay and then make your way to the vessel or charter/company, especially during peak times such as Easter, Christmas and the Cruising Season.
- Coral Sea Marina parking machines accept credit card or gold coins.
- There is no undercover parking available at Coral Sea Marina

There are private amenities available in the north marina, south marina and in our customer lounge Ocean Club. All private amenities contain toilets, hot/ cold showers and premium change facilities. Your marina access card provides access to all our private amenities 24 hours per day/ 7 days a week.
To ensure high levels of cleanliness, we complete regular checks of all our facilities. Should you encounter any issues with the amenities, please speak directly with the Guest Services team.
We also have public amenities available in both the north and south villages available for those marina visitors who are enjoying the marina precinct or departing/ returning for day tours or overnight trips.

Being a certified Clean Marina Level III, we are committed to environmental practices which we can share with our customers. Our refuse and recycling facilities are testament to that.
We currently have recycling facilities in both refuse compounds (north and south marina) for the following materials – glass, aluminium cans, paper/ cardboard, hard plastics, waste oil, waste fuel and oil filters, batteries.
Please help us maintain our beautiful environment by using the appropriate bins to reduce the amount of waste we have collected for land-fill. Garbage is cleared on a daily basis. Recycling several times, per week. We ask that you crush cans and cardboard boxes to optimize the facilities for all guests.
Hazardous materials – should you have any hazardous materials (e.g. oil, filters etc) which require removal from your vessel, our dockhand can assist with this. Fees apply, please contact the Guest Services team for information

Guest WiFi is available throughout the marina village, in Ocean Club and in our marina office receptions in both North and South marinas. Please note guest WiFi is currently unavailable on the water in our wet berths.

Gas refills are available from both the north and south marina office. If you drop your bottle off in the morning it will be available to collect from the same office after 4pm the same day.
All gas bottles must be in date and compliant with current regulations for us to fill them.

Our fuel wharf is available for public use 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Card payment facilities are available on the fuel wharf. Due to the high volume of boat movements, it is essential to make a booking in advance with the marina office for refueling during office hours (8.30am – 4.30pm).
To reduce congestion, we allocate half an hour for each vessel to utilize the fuel, water and pump out facilities. This allows us to honour fuel booking times and assists the next vessel to dock for its scheduled time.
If you require assistance with lines on the fuel wharf, please contact is advance to arrange for the dockhand concierge to be available at your allocated time. This applies to fueling during office hours only.
No booking is required outside of office hours.

There are laundry facilities available at Ocean Club. Laundry is open from 6am – 9pm daily. The machines are coin operated and a change machine are available for your convenience. If you have any problems with the machines please contact the marina office, so we can liaise with company who operates the laundry service.
A private laundry service is available locally also, for details please speak with the customer service team.

Trolleys
Trolleys
We have a range of trolleys, which are available for use by our marina guests for assistance with luggage and provisioning.
Trolleys must be booked out at the marina office and a $20 retrieval fee is charged if they are not returned.
Trolleys are permitted to be used outside of office hours, however must be returned to the compound when finished with.

Power
Power
It is mandatory that all electrical leads connecting to our shore power must be tested by a qualified electrician and have a current and valid tag displayed on the lead. It is also a requirement that single phase power leads are to have a current rating no less than 15AMP for safety requirements.
15amp single phase power is included in our Utilities Service.
3 phase power is available upon request and on consumption will incur additional charges. Use of multiple 15AMP single phase power incurs an additional daily charge also

Access/ Security
Access/ Security
Our private amenities in both the North and South villages, Ocean Club, the non-commercial marina arms and all arms after 6pm are accessible only with a security access card. Your access cards will be issued on your arrival at the marina and are valid for the duration of your stay. A $50 card deposit is held until the cards are return on departure.
The marina is patrolled daily from 6pm – 5pm by our Night Duty Manager. The marina is also fitted with high security surveillance cameras for your safety.

Vessel Pump Out
Vessel Pump Out
We have self-service pump out facilities for grey and black water on the fuel dock. The marina is a nil discharge area, so we highly recommend you make use of the pump-out facilities available.
During the day we recommend you make a booking for the fuel wharf, due to high levels of traffic.
Should you require assistance with the pump-out we can provide a full pump-out service through our dockhand on request (fees apply).

Contractors/ Tradies
Contractors/ Tradies
A Contractor Induction Program has been introduced to ensure the high quality of service standard provided by contractors and tradespeople onsite.
In accordance with WHS legislation, Coral Sea Marina now requires all contractors/ tradespeople to check in at the marina office prior to work commencing so they can complete our Contractor Induction Program.
Insurance and trade qualification certificates are mandatory for the induction and all power tool leads must be tested and tagged. Inducted contractors will be identified with a contractor lanyard and access card, $50 per card payable at the time of induction.
Boat owners are responsible for ensuring any tradespeople they engage to work in their vessel have completed our induction program.

If you are a paying private marina guest, we will happily accept postal deliveries on your behalf to the south marina office.
Please ensure that your name and vessel name is clearly marked on your arriving deliveries, then our Guest Services team will contact you to let you know when your delivery has arrived.
