Abell Point Marina has 2500m2 of associated retail and commercial tenancies providing a full complement of services and facilities to support both leisure and commercial sectors of the boating industry. It is our vision that a world-class marina is not solely about berthing and on-water facilities, but for a marina to become a destination that guests want to stay and enjoy, the marina village plays an integral part of that experience.
During the recent development years, a strong focus has been on providing an enjoyable marina village experiences, as well as securing quality marine service providers who can assist our boating community with all their vessel needs. The marina village now caters to most boating requirements include services for electrics and electronics, marine mechanics, dive shop and associated services, brokerage, chandlery and rigging, haul out facilities, boat yard and sails repairs.
With the recent inclusion of R Marine Crawley, operating from their office in the south marina, known for their quality reputation, a total yacht management service is now available for guests of the marina. From vessel detailing to full maintenance programs, from sail repairs to slipping and hardstand, whatever you need to take care of your boat whilst staying at Abell Point Marina we can assist with. If there is a service you cannot find within the village, please speak with the friendly reservations team who would happily recommend our preferred suppliers in the local area. As Airlie Beach is boating town, rest assured whatever you need can almost definitely be sourced within the region.
Whilst the provision of marina services is essential to the attraction of any marina precinct, the leisure side of the village is equally important. With over 70 commercial operators, 42 skippered vessels, 115 bareboat charter vessels and 22 tenants calling Abell Point Marina their home, the marina is alive daily with visitors and guests to the region enjoying a range of Whitsunday experiences. Abell Point Marina acts as a major tourist hub for the Whitsunday region.
With the development of the Marina Parkway in 2017, we are consistently adding to the service offer and our vision is to encourage all visitors to the region to stay, play, explore.
